The incumbent serves as the Systems Administrator and Helpdesk Manager for the National Gallery of Art's Oracle financial management systems. The incumbent is responsible for front end administration of the Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS), and Cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) systems, after the EBS has been decommissioned. This position reports to the Chief, Financial Management Systems.

Candidates must meet the Qualification Standards Handbook requirements for the GS-2210-14/15.
GS-14 Specialized Experience Statement: For this position, specialized experience is at least one year of experience, equivalent in responsibility to the GS-13 level in the Federal service, serving as systems administrator for an Oracle Federal Financials system.
GS-15 Specialized Experience Statement: For this position, specialized experience is at least one year of experience, equivalent in responsibility to the GS-14 level in the Federal service, serving as systems administrator for an Oracle Federal Financials system.

System – Skill in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting ERP systems.
Specific System Expertise – Ability to administer Oracle EBusiness Suite (EBS) and other proprietary system configuration specifications.
User Support – Ability to provide functional support to system users.

Education
Undergraduate or Graduate Education: Degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks.
Experience must be IT related; the experience may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training (for example, IT certification), as appropriate
GS-5 through GS-15 (or equivalent): For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.
