You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Program Support Division Office in the Aviation Support Department (ASD) STRIKE FIGHTER WING PACIFIC STAFF.

Duties
You will develop reports documenting non-compliance to established training standards or instructions.
You will prepare evaluations regarding program issues (e.g., obligations rates, expenditures, commitments, contractor performance statements) that may affect performance and productivity.
You will advise managers on methods for improving efficiencies with new processes and procedures.
You will devise methods (e.g., surveys, opinion polls, questionnaires) to collect program data.
You will analyze new or current processes to identify potential problems and recommend solutions.
You will use qualitative and quantitative analytical needs to develop and execute continuous process improvement activities within an organization.
You will establish and maintain case files for investigations, inquiries, reviews, audits, and inspections.
You will track and perform follow-up requirements for investigations, reviews, audits, and inspections.
You will collaborate with internal and external contacts (e.g., government agencies, universities, non-profit organizations, vendors, private industry) to gather data for program monitoring or evaluation.
You will collaborate with business operations teams or leaders from other organizations to clarify policies or improve effectiveness.
Requirements

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
FOR THE GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying analytical techniques to assess program inefficiencies and prepare audit reports for the accuracy of purchase card operations.
For the GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying analytical techniques to gather data and assist with program analysis and audit reports for the accuracy of purchase card operations.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
FOR GS-09 ONLYSuccessful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree
OR
Possession of an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to this position being filled.
