Serves as a Management Analyst within the Office of the Chief Counsel, Office of Operations & Legal Support (AGC-10).

Duties

Serves as a member of the Legal and Litigation Support Team responsible for a variety of analytical and administrative assignments in direct support of AGC's attorney staff. Applies experience and comprehensive knowledge to plan and conduct functional support activities, such as: reviewing and analyzing a variety of legal documents; drafting responses to litigation inquiries; reviewing, identifying, and categorizing litigation records; and conducting legal research. Reports directly to a Legal and Litigation Support Team Manager (AGC-10).

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.

Qualifications

Applicants must demonstrate at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/pay band (FV-H, FG/GS-12) that is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.Specialized experience is defined as: Experience collecting, analyzing, organizing, and tracking litigation documents; andExperience utilizing various automated software to review, process, and produce information in support of litigation discovery.In addition to the above, this position also has a Quality Ranking Factor (QRF). Applicants who demonstrate the specialized experience and the possession of the QRF will be placed in the Well-Qualified category:Skill to apply a working knowledge of the Nuix and Relativity eDiscovery systems.You should include relevant examples of this experience in your work history.
