You will serve as a Safety and Occupational Health Manager in the Safety Division of Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam.
Duties
You will review mishap reports for accuracy and causal factors to institute corrective action and prevent recurrence.
You will recommend safety and occupational health standards and procedures to eliminate or control potential hazards.
You will define the goals and objectives to develop a successful Safety and Occupational Health program.
You will advise appropriate training agency and top level management of proposed changes to curricula and Safety and Occupational Health (SOH) processes.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Interpreting and applying safety and occupational health laws, regulations, principles, standards, procedures, and abatement measures to manage an Occupational Health Program; 2) Developing and monitoring yearly budgets to meet organizational requirements; 3) Analyzing mishaps to promote safe work practices; and 4) Recommending program changes to reduce frequency, severity, and cost of accidents and occupational illnesses and injuries.
