This position is within the Missile Defense Agency, Technical Intelligence Directorate. The incumbent will serve as an Intelligence Operations Specialist providing support to MDA Program Elements and Supporting Offices.
Duties
As an INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST at the GG-0132-14 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Provides direct support to MDA Program and organizations located across the United States as the assigned CI subject matter expert for the respective programs.
Ensures Counterintelligence (CI) support is consistent with applicable public laws, Executive Orders and DoD Directives, Instructions and other policy.
Ensures defensive CI functional services and products are integrated into all MDA activities to protect personnel, facilities, critical program information, and MDS technologies from criminal, terrorist, and foreign intelligence and security services.
Manages assigned government and contractor workforce providing direct support to geographically separate MDA programs and activities.
Assists MDA leadership and MDA Program Directors in identifying intelligence and counterintelligence requirements.
Coordinates and tracks customer requirements with the agency intelligence divisions and/or the US intelligence/counterintelligence communities, as appropriate.

Qualifications
You may qualify at the GG-14, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
Have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower broadband (NH-03/GS-13) or equivalent in the federal service (experience may have been gained in the private sector) (Applicants are required to meet 2 of 3 statements in order to be qualified) with
Experience in executing and managing Counterintelligence (CI) Program products, services and activities.
Experience with the roles, missions and functions of the US intelligence and counterintelligence communities.
Experience in counterintelligence missions and functions and be able to apply them in a RDT&E environment.
Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.
