The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a senior targeteer and subject matter expert engaged in the technical analysis and production of information obtained and processed from multiple intelligence sources in support of customer requirements.
Duties
This is a GG-14 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-14 duties for the "Professional" work category is at the "Senior" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-14 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.

DUTIES:
Serves as a senior target adviser and primary consultant on target and weaponeering analysis and production.
Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
Develops and presents targeting capabilities to a wide variety of service, national, and coalition customers.
Manages and oversees targeting production.
Conducts and oversees the most complex analysis of multi-source intelligence.
Serves as a senior technical authority on Targeting issues for leadership.

- Position is designated special-sensitive and requires eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information(SCI)

- Will occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station in performance of temporary duty assignment (TDY) to include travelling on military or commercial aircraft.
- This is a Mission Essential (ME) position performing a Mission Critical Function (MCF) which must continue
uninterrupted after the occurrence of an emergency and continued through full resumption of all functions. IAW, DoDI
- A bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Intelligence, Management, Public Administration or other related
fields is desired; higher level studies such as a master’s degree or Ph.D. is highly preferred.
- May be assigned other duties not included in this position description, but that are appropriate to the grade and skill set of the incumbent.
- Incumbent will be subject to a random counterintelligence (CI)-scope polygraph examination and psychological screening prior to gaining access and during the period of access to SAPs.
- This is a position of trust and confidentiality in that the position is privileged to high-level discussions and access to secret material that must be protected from common knowledge or information leaks.
Qualifications
Specialized Experience:
Your resume must reflect experience at the next lower qualifying pay band or equivalent grade under the General Schedule (GS/GG) pay system or other pay systems, demonstrating quality in the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies to meet the requirements of this position. Examples of creditable experience include Supervisor uses judgment, resourcefulness, and initiative in adapting and applying guidelines, and is responsible for analyzing results and recommending changes to deal with the more difficult or unusual assignments. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of a comprehensive range of intelligence research and collection methods, techniques, and practices to use multi-source intelligence information systems to capture data to make recommendations in developing intelligence capabilities, new hypotheses and theories, and threat assessments.
2. Knowledge of advanced analytical principles, concepts, and methods to produce detail analyses of complex
information/situations attained from multiple sources.
3. Knowledge of the national intelligence community, Joint, DoD structure, organizations and mission/functions, interrelationships and operations.
4. Skill in conducting unbiased complex research, identifying appropriate available systems/data sources, and producing collection requirement assessments that answer specific tasks to link and leverage agency capabilities in support If consumers, customers, and clients.
5. Skill in communicating effectively with others, both orally and in writing, in working out solutions to problems or
questions related to the work, writing clear and concise intelligence products, and delivering written and/or verbal.

6. Ability to maintain control of classified material, quickly assimilate disparate data, render knowledgeable and accurate assessments of the implication of such data, and make decisions, estimates, and recommendations under conditions of urgency and pressure based on mature judgment and experience and present and/or justify a position effectively.
7. Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions of a staff of a small to medium organization.
