The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a senior intelligence analyst and subject matter expert engaged in the technical analysis and production of information obtained and processed from multiple intelligence sources in support of customer requirements.
Duties
-Serves as a senior adviser and primary consultant on intelligence analysis and production. Leads a wide variety of complex and non-routine analysis and intelligence production projects/programs/teams to support component, combatant command, and support agency planning and operations.
-Develops and presents ISR capabilities to a wide variety of service, national, and coalition customers. Provides Commanders and other customers the intelligence information and analysis derived from ISR assets to maximize their own forces' effectiveness by optimizing friendly force strengths, exploiting adversary weaknesses, and countering adversary strengths.
-Conducts and oversees the most complex analysis of multi-source intelligence. Evaluates relevance and reliability of both classified and unclassified information to understand adversary strengths, weaknesses, and centers of gravity.
-Manages and oversees intelligence production. Manages and oversees intelligence production to satisfy component, combatant command, and support agency requirements.
-Serves as a senior technical authority on ISR issues for NSDC leadership. Makes authoritative recommendations and defends to the Director and National Space Defense Center (NSDC) staff, decisions on operational policy matters; often required to make difficult decisions committing Agency funds or resources impacting future capabilities.
-Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Directs, coordinates, and oversees work of subordinates.

Qualifications
This is a GG-14 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-14 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Senior" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-14 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: mastery of a comprehensive range of intelligence research, collection methods and analytical applications and methodologies that includes the evaluation of many diverse sources of information utilizing multiple intelligence information systems in order to develop intelligence capability and threat assessments. Amasses and analyzes in detail intelligence data using multi-source analytical expertise from either regional or functional background/training to current and operational intelligence missions. Demonstrated knowledge of the national intelligence community, Joint, DoD structure, organizations and mission/functions, inter-relationships and operations. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of a comprehensive range of intelligence research and collection methods, techniques, and practices to use multi-source intelligence information systems to capture data in order to make recommendations in developing intelligence capabilities, new hypotheses and theories, and threat assessments.
2. Knowledge of advanced analytical principles, concepts, and methods to produce detail analyses of complex information/situations attained from multiple sources.
3. Knowledge of the national intelligence community, Joint, DoD structure, organizations and mission/functions, interrelationships and operations.
4. Skill in conducting unbiased complex research, identifying appropriate available systems/data sources, and producing collection requirement assessments that answer specific tasks to link and leverage agency capabilities in support of consumers, customers, and clients.
5. Skill in communicating effectively with others, both orally and in writing, in working out solutions to problems or questions related to the work, writing clear and concise intelligence products, and delivering written and/or verbal presentations to senior level audiences for decision-making purposes.
6. Ability to maintain control of classified material, quickly assimilate disparate data, render knowledgeable and accurate assessments of the implication of such data, and make decisions, estimates, and recommendations under conditions of urgency and pressure based on mature judgment and experience and present and/or justify a position effectively.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT CONT'D:
1. Position is designated special-sensitive and requires eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), other intelligence-related Special Sensitive information, or involvement in Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAP) to fully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.

2. This position has been designated as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Testing Program. Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety. Therefore, incumbent is required to: (a) refrain from the use of illegal drugs and misuse of prescription medication, and (b) if requested, submit to urinalysis testing on short notice. Incumbent may be selected for random drug testing and may be subject to reasonable suspicion testing and safety mishap or accident testing.
3. Incumbent is subject to irregular work hours to include proficiency shifts, rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays. Extended shift work (12 hours), and off-duty hours on-call, particularly during Command exercises, special events, and emergencies.
4. Incumbent may be subject to a random counterintelligence (CI)-scope polygraph examination prior to gaining access and during the period of access to SAPs. All personnel must sign a SAP indoctrination agreement documenting this consent per AFI 16-701, para 1.4.
5. This is a Mission Essential (ME) position performing a Mission Critical Function (MCF) which must continue uninterrupted after the occurrence of an emergency and continued through full resumption of all functions. IAW, DoDI 3020-42, Defense Continuity Programs.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
