You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT in the PRODUCTION/PLANNING (NAPP) of TNG AIR WING SIX.
Duties
You will be responsible for the collection of aircraft, simulator, manning and training data, and entry into various training data basis and workbooks
You will extract production data, flight hours, simulator hours, sorties, manning and aircraft, from the Training Integration Management System and transfer it into the Naval Aviation Production Process Integrated Data Repository database.
You will review flight hours expended and production achieved on a monthly basis.
You will assist in developing methods of data collection for special projects and surveys.
You will assess situations complicated by conflicting or insufficient data which must be analyzed to determine the applicability and validity of established requirements.
You will apply analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to applicable data in order to identify input errors, omissions, significant trends and issues impacting quantity and quality of production.
You will prepare production reports, charts and graphs, including statistical and narrative data as
required.
You will make recommendations to analyst for needed action or handle situations personally by calling higher headquarters.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
Qualifications
GS-06:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-05) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing administrative support in an office setting by entering, gathering, editing, or extracting data and information from automated systems to prepare reports and analyze data to ensure accuracy.

Education
In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
One full year of graduate level education that is directly related to the position being filled.
OR
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
