Cyberspace Planner in the Cyberspace Operations - Integrated Planning Element (CO-IPE) Section of US Marine Forces Cyberspace Command.
Duties
You will implement new methods, techniques, and tools to conduct defensive cyber operations.
You will identify, track, measure, and update strategic long-range plans to support command missions.
You will prepare instructions, guides, and manuals tp support many different and unrelated processes and methods for planning associated with cyber operations.
You will be responsible for the development of detailed operational planning and Concept of Operations (CONOPs) that support DoD, USG and its allies.
You will apply policies and processes to facilitate the development, negotiation, and internal staffing of plans and/or memorandums of agreement.
You will demonstrate ability to work in a collaborative environment and present ideas in an accurate, relevant, clear and concise manner to both team members and supervisors.
Requirements

- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.

- The incumbent may be required to perform occasional travel (25% or less) which may involve the use of commercial and/or government aircraft.

Qualifications
You are required to have information technology (IT) related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined:

4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
In addition to your experience demonstrating the four competencies above, you are required to have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly relates to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by: implementing new methods, techniques, and tools to conduct defensive cyber operations that will satisfy cyber operations requirements within a specifically defined geographical or functional area of responsibility.

Education
