You will serve as a SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST in the MARINE CORPS DISTRICT (MCD), LOGISTICS BRANCH of 12TH MARINE CORPS DISTRICT.

Duties

You will serve as the District Supply Automated Information System (AIS) manager to validate user access for all and ensure proper Segregation of Duties (SOD). You will evaluate exception reports to determine systemic causes. You will manage the District Supply Department of the Navy Taskers within the Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) Task Management Tool (TMT). You will create formal correspondence, reports, tabulated material, memoranda, and other related documentation in either rough draft or final form. You will prepare, review, submit, and execute procurement actions chargeable for supplies, equipment, and services using authorized methods in the financial and accounting system. You will complete inspections, training, mission planning, and coordination with Higher Headquarters and subordinate commands.

Requirements

  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final SECRET security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Searching databases to extract information to resolve discrepancies, respond to questions, provide status, and verify information; Resolving problems by applying regulations and precedent actions, and other general guidelines; AND troubleshooting supply system problems and providing specific program support for supply and data systems. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

master's or equivalent graduate degree

or

2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.B. or J.D., if related
