The incumbent will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects in support of the office mission to disrupt and dismantle criminal networks that present priority transnational organized crime threats to the United States. Projects include comprehensive operational reviews of 93 judicial districts, 11 federal law enforcement agencies, 19 co-located Strike Forces, priority targeting processes, illicit finance program, and other national initiatives.
Duties
The duties and responsibilities for a Program Analyst generally include, but are not limited to, the following:
Responsible for evaluating programs that support the component's mission to disrupt and dismantle drug trafficking, money laundering, and priority transnational organized crime organizations.
Develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, and key requirements for operational initiatives.
Conduct analyses of data to prepare reports for organization leadership.
Demonstrate how to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environment.
Provide planning and interpretation for special projects.
Requirements
- You must be a United States Citizen or National.
- You will be required to complete a pre-employment security investigation and background check which includes a drug screening.
- You may be required to complete a one-year probationary or two-year trial period.

Qualifications
To qualify for the position of Program Analyst at (GS-0343-13/14), you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below AND possess the required specialized experience specific to this series and grade you're applying to.
If you are a current or former government employee on a permanent appointment in the competitive service, you will need to demonstrate 1-year (52-weeks) at the next lower grade level, to meet the time-in-grade requirements for this occupational series and grade. Additionally, please ensure to submit an applicable SF50 (please refer to the "required documents" section for additional information).
Specialized Experience: For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is to identify, analyze, and make recommendation to resolve operational organization issues. .
Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is to identify, plan and evaluate in conducting analyses using (e.g. Management Information System) data to prepare reports on administrative issues.
