Duties
As a Supervisory Management Analyst, you will:
Lead a team of Management Analysts responsible for analyzing and evaluating (on a qualitative and quantitative basis) interrelated issues of effectiveness, efficiency and productivity, and establishing criteria to measure and/or predict the effectiveness of operations and activities in meeting established goals and objectives.
Develop options, recommendations, and conclusions that take into account and give appropriate weight to uncertainties about the data and other variables that affect long range program performance.
Adapt analytical techniques and evaluation criteria to develop new or modified work methods, organizational structures, records and files, management processes, staffing patterns, procedures for administering program services, guidelines and procedures, and automating work processes.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized Experience: For the GS-14 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
-Overseeing a team of analysts or serving as a senior analyst responsible for analyzing and evaluating organizational effectiveness, efficiency and productivity; AND
- Experience reviewing, evaluating, and making recommendations for improvement to administrative programs and functions; AND
- Developing and presenting recommendations based on analysis and evaluation of administrative programs and functions.
Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-14 you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks.
Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
