You will serve as a SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST in the NAVAL SEA SYSTEMS COMMAND of NAVSEALOGCENKYPTDIVNUWC MECH PA in Dahlgren, VA

Duties

You will measure OM and S status using a variety of locally developed metrics to determine effectiveness in achieving goals and objectives. You will skill in the utilization of scheduling, presentation, and office technology such as Microsoft Office. You will accomplish work effectively, maintaining harmonious relationships and reconciling divergent viewpoints while accomplishing objectives. You will Conduct daily warehouse inventory operations; apply establishes warehouse management methods, procedures, and business practices to locate, organize, and move assets. You will assist in the implementation of established logistics policies and executes procedures to include implementation of OM and S Program and various other special projects. You will Engage in a wide range of individuals and audiences, orally and in writing, formally and informally. You will ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. You will Apply new concepts to supply operations and problems in order to develop and implement site-wide policy, procedures, and guidance.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to possess a current valid United States driver license.
  • Must be able to obtain a Forklift/MHE license and/or certification within 90 days of appointment and maintain thereafter every five years until age 60 and annually thereafter.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift
  • You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.

Qualifications

FOR THE GS-09 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing and warehouse management operations and performing supply administrative functions to ensure accountability of an organization's assets. Examples of qualifying experience may include: Assisting the Warehouse On-Site Lead with OM&S program management; performing warehouse management/administrative functions; conducting daily warehouse inventory management operations; establishing warehouse management methods, procedures, and business practices to organize and locate assets; assuring and reporting on visibility and accountability of assets and compliance with governing policy; and executing day to day warehouse operations. FOR THE GS-07Your resume must demonstrate at least specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector Assisting in analyzing warehouse management operations and performing supply administrative functions to ensure accountability of an organization's assets. Examples of qualifying experience may include: Conducting daily warehouse inventory operations; establishing warehouse methods, procedures, and business practices to organize and locate assets; assuring and reporting on visibility and accountability of assets and compliance with governing policy; and executing day to day warehouse operations. Education

The following education may be substituted for specialized experience at the GS-09:
A master's or equivalent graduate degree.
OR
Two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree.
OR
LL.B. or J.D. degree that is related to the position being filled.
OR
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.

The following education may be substituted for specialized experience at the GS-07
One full year of graduate level education.

A bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement.
