You will serve as a Deputy Site Lead and Subject Matter Expert, in the Materials Readiness Department in the Naval Sea Logistics Center (NAVSEALOGCENKYPTDIVNUWC MECH PA) Dahlgren, VA.

Duties

You will perform procedural and operational taskings associated with day to day warehouse operations. You will interpret and provide technical guidance in the application of supply management policies and operational guidance regarding methods, procedures. You will resolve deviations from cost projections and address deviations in schedule. You will assign work and tasks based on subordinates skill sets. You will teach, coach, and mentors all levels of warehouse personnel on how to perform all required transactions. You will represent the Contracting Officer and to ensure proper execution of the contract, provides proper and appropriate oversight of Contractor performance and contract execution.

  • This is a bargaining unit position.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

FOR NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent): Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level or pay band (NT-03 or GS-09 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing or resolving warehouse logistic issues by monitoring changes and deviations to fully support the Naval Command. OR You must possess a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree. OR You must have successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree. OR You must possess an LL.M. in a field directly related to the position being filled. OR You must possess a combination of the experience and graduate level education described above that equates to one year of experience.
