Duties
Serves as Deputy, Organizational Policy and Management for the DCAA Policy and Quality directorate,
Serve as senior advisor to Director and Deputy Director on organizational policy related to DCAA daily business operations.
Manage DCAA Records Management Program to ensure compliance with guidance from DoD Chief Information Officer, the Senior DoD official for Records Management, National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) and the Federal Records Centers (FRCs).
Provide oversight of the overall planning, direction and timely execution of agency-wide policies and initiatives. Direct and coordinate agency level Correspondence, Policies and Procedures.
Research and evaluate Federal Statute, judicial decisions, OPM and DoD policies to draft feedback, summaries, and responses regarding DCAA policies.
Manage a diverse set of agency-wide special projects for the Director, Deputy Director, and other agency senior leadership to present and defend in internal and external forums.
Manage tracking and drafting comprehensive policy and legal responses from both internal and external stakeholders.
Leads a team in the day to day administrative and operational requirements for the policy and records management programs.

Qualifications
You may qualify for consideration if meeting time-in grade, specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.

Specialized Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-14 or equivalent level. Specialized experience must be documented in your resume.Specialized experience for this position is: Directing Agency-wide programs that involve development of major aspects of key Agency administration and organizational policies; Conducting extensive research to assist in the drafting of Agency rulemaking and policy plus reviews, evaluating Federal Statutes, OPM, and DoD policies to make recommendations regarding Agency policies and programs; Managing the tracking and drafting of comprehensive policy and legal responses from both internal and external stakeholders; Managing and overseeing a Records Management Program to ensure compliance with National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) and DoD's records management program; Researching and evaluating relevant statutes, judicial decisions, regulations to draft feedback, summaries, and responses to agency policy inquiries.
