This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of intelligence & Analysis (I&A), Principal Deputy Undersecretary for Intelligence and Analysis, Partner Engagement/SLTT.
The incumbent will serve as the Program: Manager for Outreach and Engagement.
Non-BU: This is a non-bargaining unit position.
Duties
As a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst, GS-0343-14, your typical work assignments may include:
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Section Chief of the Private Sector Engagement Branch in I&A's Engagement, Liaison and Outreach Division (ELO). The Section Chief is responsible for directing, implementing, coordinating, and-or overseeing a variety of management programs impacting private sector engagement. The Section Chief should be skilled in leading and motivating personnel to achieve goals and objectives, overcome situational ambiguity, and resolve organizational and interpersonal conflict.
This position will oversee management of relationships with national-level stakeholder organizations, including engagements with international and national level associations, councils, and committees, including the critical infrastructure groups, and the execution of national private sector focused initiatives.
This position requires professionals with experience working with private sector, to plan, organize, and implement programs, plans, and proposals involving substantial agency resources, or that require extensive changes in established procedures.

Requirements

Qualifications
Specialized Experience:
You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess the specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in Federal service or equivalent private/public sector experience. For this position, specialized experience is defined as:
Experience working in or directly with professionals in national-level organizations and who understand the current homeland security operating environment, landscape, policy, and areas of concern.
Have the ability to develop significant relationships with private sector and homeland security associations.
Experience coordinating with agency partners and sharing relevant intelligence and threat information with external private sector stakeholders.

Substitution of education in lieu of specialized experience may not be used for this grade level.
