This position is located in Office of Planning, Evaluation and Policy Division (OPEPD) The Office of the Chief Data Officer (OCDO) Innovation and Engagement Division. The Office of the Chief Data is responsible for managing and improving the Department's ability to leverage data as strategic asset and is made up of The Governance Strategy Division and the Innovation and Engagement Division.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualification Requirements:You may meet the minimum qualifications for the GS-09, if you possess the specialize experience, education, or a combination of the two.
Specialized Experience for the GS-9One year of experience in either federal or non-federal service that is equivalent to at least a GS-07 performing two (2) out of three (3) of the following duties or work assignments:
1. Experience assessing reported vulnerabilities in software components affecting operational information systems and determining appropriate response and action.2. Experience assisting in developing or revising information security control implementation statements associated procedures, and evidence.3. Experience working with independent evaluators of information security practices to satisfy expectations and constraints and obtain and retain authorization to operate an information system. OREDUCATION (see EDUCATION SECTION of the vacancy announcement)OR A combination of both education and experience in which the total percentages must equal at least 100 percent to qualify an applicant for that grade level.Basic Experience Requirements:(IT Specialist, GS-2210-9/11) You must possess IT related experience (paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training (e.g., IT certification), as appropriate) demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.

Education

2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree.
OR
A master's degree or equivalent graduate degree in computer science, information science, information systems management, mathematics, statistics, operations research, or engineering, or course work that required the development or adaptation of computer programs and systems and provided knowledge equivalent to a major in the computer field.
