About the Position: Serve as a Security Manager for the Enterprise Cloud Management Agency (ECMA). Responsible for managing programs and administering the internal operations security (OPSEC), information, personnel, physical, industrial, information systems, and technical security programs that have worldwide impact.

Duties

Manage Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP). Process requests for security clearance. Serve as the Collateral Document Control Officer. Implement physical security program plans. Develop and administer security education and training program. Administer the security awareness program. Manage programs and administrate the internal operations security (OPSEC) for Enterprise Cloud Management Agency (ECMA). Develop new or revised security policy standards.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
  • Term Positions: One year trial period may be required.
  • The incumbent is required to sign a DA Form 5019 and must pass urinalysis testing, as required prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
  • This position requires the incumbent obtain the following core SPeD Certification: Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) within their first two years of employment (see additional information).

Position may be made permanent without further competition Current Department of Army Civilian Employees In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Processing requests for clearances; advising management officials on personnel security related issues such as policies; and monitoring document inventory in accordance with directives. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
