Duties
Process and review medical action requests.
Operate automated office systems to produce, store, process and retrieve data and information materials.
Maintain accurate medical action files.
Responsible for review of material received from Department of Defense Medical Examination Review Board.
Prepare reports and briefings concerning the Summer Training, Medical Review Board overall projection consultants evaluations and flight physicals.
Coordinate with the Secretary of the General Staff and G1 regarding medical actions.
Review new or changed regulations and determines its impact on medical actions.
Assembles and reviews medical and personnel Cadet Summer Training documents.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed Secret background investigation.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
- May require a one-year probation period.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: Utilizing office automation systems to process medical action requests, reviewing medical documents for accuracy, and preparing briefings for leadership. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05).
Education

1 full year of graduate level education directly related to the position being filled (MUST provide transcripts).
