You will serve as a Engineering Technician in the Facilities Maintenance Division of MCRD ERR PI SC.
As an Engineering Technician, you will provide technical assistance to the design, installation, maintenance, or repair of the buildings, grounds, and facilities.
Duties
You will maintain and update the plans library of the command hard copy and electronic data for facilities, real estate and environmental information.
You will perform practical engineering design by preparing layout design, plans, specifications, and quantity estimates.
You will prepare evaluation reports, making recommendations for inclusion in overall system evaluation reports of higher-level engineers/technicians.
You will assist in filling out environmental forms.
You will assist in the development of NOI permits for projects on Depot.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical expertise in design, maintenance, repair, construction and alteration of real property facilities, utility systems and installed equipment; and preparing cost estimates, drawings, contract work statements and specifications for Architectural, Civil/Structural, Electrical and Mechanical projects.
