You will serve as a Program Manager in the Surface & Undersea War Training Production Division of Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) ORLANDO. Position is located at Washington Navy Yard, District of Columbia.
Duties
You will serve as the single point of contact for all Combat Systems/Weapons/Navigation Training Systems, and Training System Components, developed and delivered by NAWCTSD and other Government activities.
You will direct the activities of staff assistant program managers, technical managers.
You will manage Government personnel providing Program Management support to UWSTR for development, Fleet Review, and OPNAV approval of trainer documentation to include Front End Analysis (FEA) products.
You will manage, coordinates, and interfaces with OPNAV, TYCOMs, and Participating Acquisition Resource Managers (PARMs).
You will engage in and represent the Program office in supporting of all training systems, training support, and other training services to support systems and operations.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12/13) or pay band (DA-05) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of a Program Manager. Specialized experiences must include duties related to the following: (1) Analyzing needs and requirement information to develop program initiatives and planning and leading an integrated product team; (2) Planning, directing, and evaluating acquisition, management, technical development, and financial control for training systems programs in terms of risk, performance, cost, and schedule; (3) Communicating with stakeholders via written and oral communication; and (4) Monitoring progress, planning engagements, and revising program planning to meet changing conditions for a training system program.
