About the Position: This position is with the USAG-HI DHR. Hawaii is a beautiful state with many outdoor activities to include surfing, paddling, diving, fishing, and hiking. Duties

Compile statistical reports using data supplied by program staff components including monthly and/or quarterly report. Coordinate, create, and submit statistical reports using automated systems as required by various agencies and commands. Participate in developing targeted proposals outlining the needs of the ASAP program. Ensure all correspondence is reviewed for proper format, grammar, and punctuation before being signed by the ADCO (Alcohol and Drug Control Officer) Provide statistical data related to ASAP (Army Substance Abuse Program) prevention and treatment to the ADCO (Alcohol and Drug Control Officer)

  • Temporary Duty travel (TDY) may be required up to 5%.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting managers and employees regarding administrative and organizational matters pertaining the Army Substance Abuse program; providing administrative support, developing and implementing prevention initiatives; Reviewing compiling and preparing basic program briefings/presentations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.). OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and ManagementPlanning and EvaluatingTechnical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
