Duties
Serve as the Wyoming Landscape Conservation Initiative Coordinator.
Serve as project lead on the inter-agency coordination team. Provide direction and guidance to the development of specific operational procedures.
Develop, coordinate, and guide development and implementation of biological, physical, and socio-economic criteria for use in identification, funding, and development of priority efforts.
Coordinate with BLM and other WLCI partners in preparation of annual budget documents.
Conduct outreach activities associated with WLCI.
Requirements

FOR GS-11: You must possess one (1) full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 level which includes but is not limited to:
Knowledge of a wide range of project management principles, practices, methods, concepts, and tools.
Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate, and manage projects.
Knowledge of applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to issues and projects.
Knowledge of budgetary and financial management principles and techniques.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade requirement in accordance with 5 CFR 300.604. If you are a current Federal employee in the General Schedule (GS) pay plan and applying for a promotion opportunity, you must have completed a minimum of 52 weeks at the next lower grade level.
Physical Demands: The job involves prolonged hours of sitting at a desk and working on a computer in an office environment. Standing and hiking in adverse climate may be required for fieldwork.
Work Environment: The work environment varies from an office setting where the incumbent is in contact with work associates to a field setting where the incumbent is working alone or in a group, in remote and adverse situations. Incumbent will adhere to all safety rules and regulations as prescribed in manuals/supplements or by the designated Safety Officer
