You will serve as a Supervisory Financial Management Analyst in the of NAVOCEANO BAY ST LOUIS.

Duties

You will monitor and report execution against obligation phasing plan and recommend solutions for over or under execution. You will provide leadership, mentoring, and training to subordinates. You will ensure funds are obligated in accordance with appropriation law and federal guidelines. You will provide sound and logical funding recommendations in accordance with various fiscal laws/regulations/guidance. You will manage fiscal aspects of large and complex programs with multiple appropriations.

Requirements

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This is a Financial Management Level 3 Certified position IAW the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. This certification must be achieved within prescribed timelines.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience monitoring and reporting budget execution to senior leadership via official federal accounting system standardized. Experience monitoring and reporting execution against obligation phasing plan and recommend solutions for over or under execution. Experience managing the myriad of data calls and accounting reports due to upper echelons along with day to day duties. Experience developing and providing detailed plan of action to division to accomplish workload and follow up on that action to ensure it is accomplished. Experience ensuring funds are obligated in accordance with appropriation law and federal guidelines. Experience providing sound leadership, mentoring and training to Division personnel. Experience providing sound and logical funding recommendations in accordance with various fiscal laws, regulations and guidance such as Appropriations Law, DoD Financial Management Regulations, U.S. Code and local command guidance/policies and procedures. Experience managing fiscal aspects of large and complex programs with multiple appropriations.
