About the Position: About the Position: This position is a Defense Health Agency, Small Stand-Alone Market Dir of Resource Management, Information Management Division located at Lemoore, CA. Lemoore is a city in Kings County, California, United States. Lemoore is located 7.5 miles west-southwest of Hanford, at an elevation of 230 feet. Duties
Develop, administer and manage databases, applications and websites.
Responsible for coordinating and implementing installation, testing, operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of assigned IT equipment, software applications, and operating systems.
Conduct desktop administration planning, coordination, modification, implementation, and troubleshooting to support customer needs.
Perform IT tasks on systems, including associated IT equipment, software, network and interfaces.
Responsible for the installation of new hardware and non-standard software systems, diagnosing and resolving systems problems.
Responsible for managing folders, electronic databases, and digitized media.
Evaluate new equipment for technical compatibility and applicability to systems.
Coordinate purchase of new information systems to meet department requirements.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is subject to annual vaccination.
- Employees assigned to a medical treatment facility are required to be screened for applicable immunizations or pre-existing immunity based on occupational risk, regardless of job series unless exempted for medical or administrative reasons.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.
- This position has been designated "Mission Essential". In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations (natural or man-made disaster), required to report to work or remain at work to support mission operations.
- Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain IAT Level II certification by completing one of the commercial certifications as outlined in DODM8140.03 within six (6) months of employment.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate Cyber Workforce Element Basic, Intermediate, and/or Advanced training requirements in accordance with DOD and service component regulations.
