This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, US Coast Guard YARD, Planning, Estimating, Scheduling and Business Management (PES/BM) Division Supply Branch of the Industrial Department in Baltimore, MD
Duties
The primary focus of this position is to support Coast Guard Program Depot Maintenance, including major acquisition projects by developing and maintaining production plans from requirements development to asset delivery. Plans will include estimate and schedule data consistent with the project's life cycle phase. Being a civilian working for the Coast Guard makes you a valuable team member. Typical duties include:
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
- Must submit a copy of most recent SF-50, Notice of Personnel Action
- Complete within 36 months: Certified as Program Manager Level I
- Complete within 36 months: COR Level II (Services)
- Complete within 36 months: Life Cycle Logistics Manager Level II
Qualifications
Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience includes estimating scheduling data consistent with the project's life cycle phase; Completing project planning and estimating; etc.
Must be able to obtain and maintain the following within 36 months of hiring:
- Certified as a Department of Homeland Security COR Level II (Services) - Certified as a Department of Homeland Security Program Manager Level 1 - Certified as a Department of Homeland Security Life Cycle Logistics Manager Level II
