Duties

Manages a Food Service Program within a business activity. Develops, recommends and enforces operating procedures. Plans and manages all phases of food service program where dining and catering are a substantial basis of the food operation. Prepares/supervises the preparation of menus involving both standard and new cooking methods. Develops operating budget and data, identifying labor, equipment, and supply costs. Supervises assigned staff.

Requirements

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
  • The ability to obtain (within first six months of employment) and maintain a Food Protection Manager Certification acquired through an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited agency is required.

Qualifications

*Resume MUST clearly reflect the knowledge and experience listed under the minimum qualifications criteria.** 1. Work experience or education directly related to the duties to be performed. 2. Knowledge of pricing methods and internal controls. 3. Demonstrated work experience must be equivalent in complexity and difficulty to the next lower pay level. 4. Possess a certificate for sanitation in food service or have the ability to obtain the certificate within three months of appointment. Best Qualified Criteria:(Please Note: The qualified applicants who meet the Best Qualified Criteria will be referred to management first.) To meet the Best Qualified Criteria, you must possess the following experience: 1. Do you have your ServSafe Certificate? 2. Do you have 3 years of Catering experience? (PLEASE NOTE: To receive credit, the demonstrated experience above must be shown in your resume and certificate uploaded.)
