You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (OA) in the Marine Corp Civilian Human Resources Office-Southeast, Human Resources Satellite Office of MARINE CORPS BASE.
Duties
You will assist in preparing, reviewing and submitting Request for Personnel Action (RPAs) using a human resource information system to ensure accuracy and completeness; resolve discrepancies and complete missing information.
You will assist with preparing new employee orientation packages, On-Boarding process, and assist with in-briefs and ensure in-processing forms are completed.
You will use automated data processing equipment and related software to prepare a variety of correspondence, memorandums, form, and other documents, to include technical reports dealing with strength reports.
You will provide basic program information and support regarding standard processing procedures and requirements related to the staffing program.
Requirements

Qualifications
GS-06: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing support services to the Human Resources Director (HRD) and Human Resources Specialist in the areas of staffing and recruitment, position management, classification, Labor and Employee Relations, and Performance Management as needed.
GS-05: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing administrative assistance to support a human resources office to include data processing; preparing correspondence, memorandums, forms, and reports; maintaining files and databases; and general office duties (e.g. greeting guests, answering telephones, receiving and distributing mail, etc.).

Education
In lieu of specialized experience listed in the Qualifications section, applicants may qualify based on equivalent education as follows:
GS:05
- I have successfully completed four years of education above high school level OR
- I have a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
