You will serve as a PMS 339 STAVE Assistant Program Manager in the Technical Division of NAVSEA HQ FIELD SUPPORT.
Duties
You will manage and analyze the technical scope of associated training programs.
You will assure quality and reliability, logistic compatibility, standardization and technical accuracy of the training program.
You will have technical and administrative responsibilities include training needs assessments, curriculum design and development, instruction
assessment and management, resources, funding, approvals and procurement, etc.
You will develop approaches to resolving critical, complex program management issues that are inherent in all phases of the training acquisition process.
You will resolve critical problems or develop new approaches.
You will ensure training acquisition programs meet their specified requirements, goals and objectives while ensuring they are completed in a timely and cost effective manor.
You will ensure acquisition programs are fully supported upon entry into the fleet or delivery to the applicable customer.
Requirements

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level/pay band NH-03 (GS-13) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing training programs to ensure quality, standardization, or accuracy for command training programs.
