You will serve as a Fleet and Family Support Center Director of NAS JRB NEW ORLEANS.
Duties
You will identify installation needs and concerns and presents plans, recommendations and assistance to influence readiness and retention issues.
You will keep abreast of DoD, DoN, and CNIC policies and can interpret\articulate their meaning, priorities, and
intent.
You will ensure all DOD, DON and other Navy chain of command policies and procedures are implemented and that CNIC Family Readiness Program standards are successfully achieved.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Serving as Integrated Prevention Coordinator within the commands; Implementing training and outreach for integrated prevention program; Interpreting Command Climate Assessment (CCA) results and/or advising commanders and leaders on development and implementation of CCA action plans at the installation, command, and/or unit level; Implementing prevention programs and/or related program management activities for the installation and tenant commands; Promoting healthy climates; to ensure the delivery of prevention activities and approaches designed to foster individual, group, and organizational health and performance to reduce and prevent problematic/destructive behaviors, such as: suicide, sexual harassment, sexual assault, substance misuse, family and interpersonal violence, workplace violence, and military equal opportunity, etc.; Overseeing all aspects of the planning, managing, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating training, education, and outreach for integrated prevention programs at the installation, command, and/or unit level.

Education
Basic education requirements for the GS-0101, Professional Social Science Series.
Have successfully completed a behavioral or social science degree, or a degree in a related discipline appropriate to the position being filled OR
Have a combination of education and experience that provided knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. OR
Have four years of appropriate experience that demonstrates knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field
