Duties

You will analyze the workload assigned to both Production Plant Albany and Barstow. You will coordinate the development of the Mater work schedule for the plant ensuring effective utilization of available resource capacity. You will provide daily production and financial variances then provide detailed explanations to management and/or customers. You will serve as POC with all customers concerning statements of work, cost estimates, production schedules, expedites of master work schedule production line. You will provide input for short and long term planning for supporting Marine Depot Maintenance Commands mission, vision, goals and objectives. You will identify potential customer/workloads through available resources such as internet, conferences, program reviews and initiate contact. You will make decisions that often require adaptation/deviation from established procedures. You will consult with supervisor to provide information required by management to report potentially troublesome situations, or to recommend corrective action in areas that extend beyond the area of responsibility.

  • This is a Bargaining Unit position.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
  • This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
  • This position requires a State Criminal History Repository (SCHR) check to be completed on any person selected for this position. I am willing and able to submit to a SCHR check.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating, planning, estimating, scheduling, and/or managing the program financials for maintenance operations and coordinating projects.
