About the Position: This position supports the mission of the J-8, Financial Operations Directorate and is located in Falls Church, Virginia or San Antonio, TX

Duties
Serve as the Program Manager and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Revenue Cycle Integrity Program (RCI) that supports the MHS, DHA, Networks, and all Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) to establish and operate the RCI Program for the MHS.
Oversee and support Network and Military Treatment Facility Managers to implement and monitor the RCI Program.
Evaluate individual and team performance.
Resolve serious employee complaints and grievances referred by subordinate supervisors and approve serious disciplinary actions(e.g. suspensions, removals, etc.).
Serves as the Instructional Designer/Trainer for the DHA RCI Program.
Continually review and evaluate the total training program for attainment of objectives.
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- This is a financial management Level 3 Certified position. This certification requirement is a condition of employment for this position. Failure to obtain this certification within the required time may subject the incumbent to adverse action.
- One-year supervisory probationary period required. A one-year probationary period is required if the selectee has not previously met this requirement.
- This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes; assisting with the oversight of the Revenue Cycle program, certifying the accuracy of financial cost records, aiding with medical record audits, and recommending development and training needs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
