This position is located in the Division of Financial Management and the purpose of this position is to provide agency-wide end user support for the financial and procurement systems, known as the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS), the Procurement Request Information System Management (PRISM), and the Financial Business Intelligence System (FBIS). Must be able to work as part of an interactive team and work independently. Incumbent reports to the Supervisory Management Analyst.
Duties
Provides end user support and customer service on a national level for the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS), the Procurement Request Information System Management (PRISM), and the Financial Business Intelligence System (FBIS) by telephone, email, and on site.
Basic end user support functions include but are not limited to password resets, user provisioning processes, basic to advanced navigation assistance within nine distinct UFMS modules and PRISM, ticket escalation processes, and referral information for desktop support which requires basic knowledge of trouble shooting personal computer issues.
Advanced End User Support includes, but is not limited to collecting data and information from end users regarding their problem issues, conducting analysis and research to come up with a resolution.
Qualifications

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks:
GS-05:
3 years of progressively responsible general experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least the GS-4 grade level in the Federal service that demonstrated the ability to:
Analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions;
Plan and organize work; and
Communicate effectively orally and in writing. OR
4 year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree in any field.
GS-07:
1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-5 grade level in the Federal Service and examples include: Troubleshooting software and computer issues and experience working in the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS), the Procurement Request Information System Management (PRISM), or Financial Business Intelligence System (FBIS).
OR
1 full year (18 semester hours ) of graduate level education that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.

Superior Academic Achievement.*
GS-09:
1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-7 grade level in the Federal Service and examples include: Troubleshooting and/or providing end user support for Unified Financial Management System (UFMS), the Procurement Request Information System Management (PRISM), or Financial Business Intelligence System (FBIS).
OR
Master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
2 full years (36 semester hours) of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such as degree and such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
Combining Education and Experience
Combinations of successfully completed post-high school education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements for the grade levels specified in the table, and may be computed by first determining the applicant's total qualifying experience as a percentage of the experience required for the grade level; then determining the applicant's education as a percentage of the education required for the grade level; and then adding the two percentages. The total percentages must equal at least 100 percent to qualify an applicant for that grade level. Only graduate education in excess of the amount required for the next lower grade level may be used to qualify applicants for positions at grades GS-9.
Time In Grade
Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements: Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP).
