About the Position: This position is located within the Defense Health Agency supporting the Operations and Plans branch, in Falls Church, Virginia. Note: Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.

Duties

Identify gaps and trends in proficiency and force readiness. Develop recommendations for appropriate changes to DOTMLPF-P. Extract and assess key issues pertaining to medical operations for dissemination to appropriate agencies within joint communities. Liaise and coordinate with counterparts at CCMDs, Combat Support Agencies, and other Services. Provides input to key documents for CCOE DOTMLPF-P efforts (e.g., concepts, operational and organizational concepts, Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) documents, programs of instruction).

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top Secret security clearance or access. A pre-employment and recurring comprehensive background investigations are required.
• This position is a Testing Designated Position subject to pre-employment screening and random drug testing. Selectees will be required to consent to participation in random drug urinalysis testing.
