SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience. Specialized experience is directly related to the duties and responsibilities of this position, referenced in the technical qualifications, that equipped the candidate with the scope and level of knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the work. This level of responsibility is typically found at the GS-15 or equivalent level in the Federal Government. Eligibility will be based upon a clear showing that the applicant has had professional training and experience of the scope, level and quality sufficient to carry out the responsibilities of the position effectively. Your application and resume should demonstrate that you possess each of the following Specialized Experience Qualifications (SEQs). SEQ 2: Experience on high profile initiatives related to national security issues, including interactions with the Department of Defense and other key interagency stakeholders, to enable effective coordination and communication on complex activities or topics. SEQ 3: Proven ability to partner with others, persuade, gain cooperation, and create high functioning teams that produce results in a timely manner. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., community, professional, philanthropic, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. You must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
