This position is at the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) in the Office of Human Resources. This position serves as a HR Specialist (Employee Development).
Duties
As a HR Specialist (Employee Development), you will:
Design, implement, and evaluate an assigned portfolio of training courses and/or programs, to ensure that they meet appropriate standards and specific needs of NCUA employees.
Select appropriate instructional methodology, coordinate/schedule sessions; develop and update training materials and agendas; market sessions; conduct/administer training and handle logistical issues before and during sessions.
Use a learning management system to manage courses and development programs.
Manage project deliverables, review project progress, report status to leadership and stakeholders in a timely manner. Ensure that all assigned work is delivered within budget, on time, in accordance with applicable laws and policies, and is of impeccable quality.
Develop and/or oversee finished written products such as job aids, memorandums, standard operating procedures, training policy, power point presentations and/or training materials.
Requirements
- You must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Suitable adjudication of background/security investigation is required.
- A probationary/trial period may be required.

Qualifications
Specialized experience is the experience that has equipped you with the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.
All applicants applying for the CU-13 level must have at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the CU/GS-12 level obtained in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience for this position is defined as experience:
Designing, delivering and evaluating training and employee development programs for an organization;
Planning and/or executing a training or employee development program; and
Managing training and development related projects.
