DCSA's Background Investigations (BI) Contractor Security Branch (CSB) is seeking a Personnel Security Specialist. The incumbent will manage & solve complex problems, be part of a team of Personnel Security Specialists who implement new program initiatives and build strong alliances across a multi-faceted cross functional organization. This role requires a change agent who can foster relationships with multiple stakeholders to transform and improve policies, processes, and operations.

Qualifications
This position has a Basic Requirement for the 0080: 1 year equivalent to at least next lower grade level

Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.
You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GS/GG-07 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility.
Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes: Utilizing the Contractor Tracking System and Contractor Security workflows to provide data tracking, maintaining information, analyzing data and create reports for a personnel security program; Processing workflows utilizing the Personnel Investigation Processing System(PIPS) and Defense Information Security System (DISS); Utilizing Identity Credentialing and Access Management Systems (CAMS) for Common Access Card (CAC) administration and sponsorship for a high volume federal investigative program; Planning, designing, and providing technical decisions on special projects for a federal Personnel Security & investigative Program .
