Temporary promotion will be for a period not-to-exceed 13 Months.

Duties

Assist with planning, coordinating and developing budget proposals and develop staffing and funding guidance as it relates to position management Develop project scopes of work for studies, evaluations, analyses, plans, etc. including determining goals and objectives, designing project methodology, assembling a project team. Organizes work, sets priorities, and determines resource requirements; determines short- or long-term goals and strategies to achieve them. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to gather data, provide feedback, prepare reports, and present briefings. Coordinates with members of the organization to accomplish goals; monitors progress and evaluates outcomes. Determining priorities for project activities and establishing deadlines and milestones.

Requirements

Qualifications

In order to be rated as qualified for this position, we must be able to determine that you meet the qualification requirements - please be sure to include this information in your resume. No assumptions will be made about your experience. For GS-13: You must possess one (1) full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal Service. that is equivalent in difficulty and complexity as indicated by the following examples: Specialized experience is further defined as: (1) Budgeting, to include interpreting and applying budget instructions, regulatory guidelines (e.g. Federal Appropriations Law or similar principle) from a procedural and technical standpoint; (2) Developing resource (staffing and funding) guidance on matters pertaining to regulations, policies and procedures governing human resources functions in areas of position management and; (3) using computer applications for word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, financial systems (e.g. Financial and Business Management System FBMS or similar system), and Human Resource Information Systems (e.g.Federal Personnel and Payroll System FPPS or similar) to plan, track, and communicate budgetary and position management information. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement. Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade requirement in accordance with 5 CFR 300.604. If you are a current Federal employee in the General Schedule (GS) pay plan and applying for a promotion opportunity, you must have completed a minimum of 52 weeks at the next lower grade level. Physical Demands: No unusual physical exertion is required. Work Environment: Work is performed in an office setting.
