You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN) in the Headquarters, U.S Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM), Command, Control, Communications and Cyber Directorate (J6), Partner Interoperability and Engagements Division (J69).
Duties
You will plan and execute communications interoperability forums (e.g. Command and Control Interoperability Boards, Interoperability Management Boards, etc.) with select foreign defense forces.
You will provide program/project management functions to achieve interoperability goals, objectives, and requirements.
You will provide support to foreign military sales cases affecting communications interoperability to include scheduling meetings, working with partners and program offices to implement solutions, and tracking associated FMS requirements.
You will use automated project software systems to input and retrieve information for assigned IT/interoperability projects.
You will prepare briefings, write information papers, perform analysis, and take other appropriate actions to support USINDOPACOM communications interoperability programs and engagement activities.

- This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code Tech Support Specialist, proficiency level Basic the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.

Qualifications
GS-13:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following:
1.) Establishing and maintaining executive level secure communications (voice, data, and VTC), capabilities;
2.) Analyzing contracts, policies, procedures, and budgets to resolve IT questions/problems and complete projects;
3.) Managing schedules, planning goals, tracking, and completion of given IT projects and work load;
4.) Using automated project software systems to input and retrieve information for assigned IT projects;
5.) Investigating, analyzing, and effecting corrective action on complex telecommunications problems for new methods or procedures.
Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
GS-12:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following:
1.) Accomplishing integrated telecommunications support planning, development, programming, budgeting, and implementation;
2.) Resolving problems or issues to assure Interoperability Program commitments are met;
3.) Processing, planning, monitoring, and controlling IT projects;
4.) Planning and executing combined communications interoperability forums.
Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
