You will serve as the Capital Investment Program Manager in the Facility and Infrastructure Management Department of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Duties
You will analyze and maintain a comprehensive, outcome-based product support strategy for each production operations program/capability.
You will direct capability studies and continuous process improvement events as a portion of the Capital Investment Program strategy.
You will perform Capital Investment Program assessments as directed for agency programs and capabilities.
You will participate as a key member on Platform Capability Boards (PCB) relating to new depot capability establishments.
You will act as the integrator for multiple projects that fall under an overarching program and negotiate with resource managers for personnel to accomplish tasks in support of the agency.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Applying expert problem solving, technical, program and project management leadership and coaching to ensure the effective use of organizational resources; 2) Providing high-level program and project management to ensure efficient and effective planning, direction and timely execution of numerous large and complex efforts; 3) Formulating, justifying, submitting, executing and defending multi-million dollar budgets for major program requirements; 4) Establishing program objectives to develop long-range plans or operating schedules; 5) Developing strategies to eliminate program obstacles and achieve organizational program objectives; 6) Preparing, presenting and defending reports, presentations or written assessments providing program/project objectives, requirements, scope, or status updates.
