You will serve as an Administrative/Technical Specialist in the Customer Business Solutions Branch (10X2) of the NAVSEA ERP Business Office (10X) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-05 pay band encompasses the GS-13/14. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $153,354).

Duties

You will serve as a Customer Solutions Associate as part of the Customer Business Solutions Branch in the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Business Office (NEBO). You will provide support to the NAVSEA Enterprise, both General Fund (GF) and Working Capital Fund (WCF) and other Commands as required. You will be responsible for supporting the NEBO Customer Solutions Team Lead as a subject matter expert in performing functions surrounding User Management (UM), Training and Sustainment activities for the NEBO. You will perform functions with Governance, Risk Management and Compliance (GRC) and Naval Identity Services (NIS) and user access to systems. You will serve as a developer for training, with a deep understanding of on-line training, self-help and user access to systems based on qualifications. You will provide end user help desk support for complex issues by using knowledge of Navy ERP and NAVSEA policies, processes, procedures, and system operations to perform research and analysis of problems. You will be responsible for providing effective customer service, following appropriate feedback mechanisms and processes, and making recommendations for service and process improvement. You will perform records management for the Customer Solutions Team, metrics support and communications for the NEBO.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 (GS-11/12 equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing and evaluating Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) process requirements to audit user access, deliver training and guidance to end users, and make recommendations for process improvements for an organization.
