You will serve as a MANAGER in the PROPERTY AND ACQUISITION BRANCH in the NAVSEA ERP BUSINESS OFFICE of the CORPORATE OPERATIONS OFFICE of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV. This position is equivalent to the GS-14/15 level.

Duties

You will provide Navy ERP systems support with responsibility for all aspects of the Property and Acquisition Branch. You will provide support to the NAVSEA Enterprise, both General Fund and Working Capital Fund, and serves as the liaison for the NAVSEA Enterprise to the Navy ERP program office for all matters within the cognizance of the team. You will serve as the supervisor for the personnel positioned within the Property and Acquisition team. You will be the NAVSEA Enterprise’s Navy ERP system expert for these matters and will be responsible for ensuring management of trouble tickets and resolution, interpreting and communicating system changes/upgrades. You will be responsible for interpreting policies and procedures in the area of responsibility and making business process recommendations for effective operations within the Navy ERP. You will communicate with the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Business Office (NEBO) Director and ensuring awareness of issues to all needed parties and to determine how to resolve or workaround issues.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-05 (GS-13/14 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector leading a program in operations and management to assess and advise on Enterprise Resource planning, tools, processes, and procedures to improve the organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
