About the Position: This is a Supply Technician position located at US Army Training and Doctrine Command, US Army Field Artillery School, 428th FA BDE, Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
Duties
Performs duties involving requisitioning, purchasing, receiving, distribution, storage, disposal and reconciliation of durable, expendable and non-expendable items within the Global Combat Support System Army (GCSS-Army).
Required to drive a military vehicle to turn in and pick up supplies and/or equipment.
Serves as a Government Purchase Credit Card Holder. Makes purchases using U.S. Government purchase card for items not available through the wholesale supply system, or items with delivery times deemed inadequate to support customers.
Assists in preparing a wide variety of budgetary and procurement forms.
Provides training assistance as assistant instructor during monthly consolidated logistics training
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a license to drive US Government vehicles.
- This position requires to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). Specialized Experience: One year of experience which includes the following: Use knowledge of supply regulations, policies and procedures; Implement internal supply operating procedures; Participate in the preparation procedures for annual inventories; and Use an automated supply system to enter and retrieve recurring supply reports. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service (GS-05).

Education: Four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. (NOTE: You MUST attach a copy of your transcripts.)
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
