This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain employees of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: Serves as the Supply Technician at Fort Sill.
Duties
Develop internal supply operating procedures for equipment management.
Coordinate organizational supply standards, procedures, and regulatory guidance.
Serve as a Supply Technician in the Supply and Services Division.
Analyze logistical/supply reports and feeder data.
Reviews requests to ensure proper identification, cost, justification, and compliance with pertinent requisition procedures.
Edits property issue slips and authorized items for requisition action or local purchase.
Coordinates with contracting officers concerning the requisitioning, turn-in,disposal, and accountability of government furnished equipment (GFE).
Establishes descriptive nomenclature and line numbers for purchase of commercial non-type classified items.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Use knowledge of supply regulations, policies and procedures to maintain accurate accounting and reporting systems; Prepare procedures for inventories to participate in the inventory process; Provide support in conducting investigations to determine causes of inventory discrepancies; and use an automated supply system.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06)
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
