About the Position: Serves as an expert logistics management specialist concerned with directing, developing, and performing logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, and evaluating the execution of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) or Integrated Product Support (IPS) for major complex systems that encompass new and emerging technologies. This is a pay banded position. The NH-03 encompasses grades 12 and 13 on the General Schedule.

Duties

Responsible for cradle to grave intensive logistics management to support complex, major weapon systems from concept through field deployment. Performs the full range of planning, liaison, contract monitoring, equipment and organizational interface, control of other government elements supporting the effort and logistics phases of field exercises and tests. Coordinates with representatives of other components and organizations concerning precedent setting, controversial, sensitive and/or complex issues. Support includes the management and interface with logistics element managers, contract support services, training facilities, Integrated Logistics Support Management organizations.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• One year trial/probationary period may be required.
• Selectee must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, (5CFR Part 2634, Subpart I Confidential Financial Disclosure Reports) upon entering the position and annually thereafter.
• This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics Certification within 48 months of entrance on duty.
