Duties
You will maintain accounting systems through policy and procedure.
You will examine documents for accuracy, adequacy of documentation in compliance with regulations.
You will establish, maintain and correct close pay accounts.
You will answer requests and provide advice to employees, supervisors, staff in other financial management series and personnel specialists on pay related rules, regulations, and procedures.
You will perform budget analysis and administration to maintain ledgers, budget formulation, compiling, consolidating, checking and arranging funding data.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- This is a Financial Management Level I Certified position IA W the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. This certification level must be achieved within prescribed timelines.

Qualifications
GS-07:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector using automated financial systems to maintain accounting transactions and compile financial reports to management.
GS-06:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector determining pay, payroll records maintenance and completion of reports; and establishing, maintaining, correcting, and closing pay accounts.
