About the Position: This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
Multiple positions (also from other Directorates) may be filled from this vacancy.
Duties
Manage of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) logistics programs.
Review, analyze and execute program activities.
Plan and conduct program level meeting to include working groups and program management reviews.
Maintain production status for deliveries to keep stakeholders apprised of interface problems.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Financial Disclosure OGE 450 upon appointment and annually.
- Obtain and maintain Secret security clearance.
- Obtain and maintain acquisition certification, Life Cycle Logistics, Advanced level, within 4 years of job entry.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service: executing the requirements of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Programs and Cases which include logistics management, program management, financial management and reviews to identify problems, necessary resource adjustments, or program schedule revisions and adjustments; coordinating short and long range international program execution plans; and assuring appropriate utilization of foreign customer funds.
