About the Position: The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) develops and delivers responsive aviation, missile and calibration materiel readiness to the U.S. Army. The position is located within US Army Aviation and Missile Command, AVIATION Directorate UTILITY however, multiple vacancies maybe filled using this announcement.
Duties
Lead the team in identifying, distributing, and balancing workload and tasks among employees in accordance with established work flow and/or skill level.
Analyze logistical problems in aviation and missile systems to develop recommended courses of actions to resolve issues that arise during development or sustainment of a major weapon system.
Oversee the conduct of short and long-range planning to assure that adequate readiness support is available to maintain unit/system readiness.
Develop and present senior level information and decision briefings in both formal written and oral format.
Coordinate across complex organizations in the development of industrial sustainment plans.
Requirements
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- Require occasional temporary duty (TDY) travel 15% of the time.
- This position requires Advance Level III certification in the Acquisition Career Field- Life Cycle Logistics. Must be able to obtain certification within 4 years of appointment.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes analyzing Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP); planning sustainment for industrial activities; recommending corrective actions or solutions to eliminate/improve industrial manufacturing/re-manufacturing deficiencies as it pertains to Sustainment Logistics; and planning and/or monitoring the work of others. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
