Duties
You will assist in preparing reports and providing financial management and analysis.
You will supports Major Range Test Facility Base (MRTFB) Investment Manager and project managers in the development of budgets and execution strategies.
You will develop obligation and expenditure spend plans and provide monthly charts measuring progress against benchmarks and plan.
You will provide financial reports and participates in execution reviews with funding sponsor.
You will assist in performing analysis by interpreting findings, developing constructive conclusions, providing recommendations and resolving issues.
You will will assist in analyzing and monitoring the financial performance.
You will prepare reports and provide financial management and analysis, evaluating progress, and results, and formulating major objectives and long-range goals.
You will propose solutions to execution year funding issues, including unplanned cost increases in development efforts, unforeseen bills, and budget cuts.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This is a Financial Management Level 1 certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
GS-09:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-7 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Preparing reports and providing financial management and analysis, evaluating progress, and results, and formulating major objectives and long-range goals; 2) Performing analysis by interpreting findings, developing constructive conclusions, providing recommendations and resolving issues; 3) Proposing solutions to execute year funding issues, including unplanned cost increases in development efforts, unforeseen bills, and budget cuts.
GS-07:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-5 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting in preparing reports and providing financial management and analysis; 2) Developing obligation and expenditure spend plans and providing monthly charts measuring progress against benchmarks and plan; 3) Monitoring and analyzing accounts.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
For the GS-09:
Master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
For the GS-07:
1 full year of graduate level education
or
superior academic achievement
