About the Position: This position is located in the Defense Health Agency (DHA) under the policy guidance and direction of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs (ASD (HA)), in San Antonio, Texas. Note: A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized.

Duties

Advise or proposes solutions to management to improve processes and structures to maximize mission accomplishment and manpower resource utilization. Collect and analyzes pertinent organizational workload data and information to quantify and justify resource requirements. Ensure validity and consistency of the conclusions or recommendations and the estimates, projections, or forecasts developed from these systems. Design/program unique computer applications to support medical functional manpower modeling using standard and nonstandard programming languages. Act as staff action officer and plans, organizes, and directs the conduct of manpower assessments pertaining to various functional areas throughout the command.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
